Kiln-dried joinery timber, ready for machining
Choose from rough-sawn hardwood and softwood boards and slabs. We kiln-dry our timber to an optimum moisture content of 8% ± 2% and store it in dry, climate-controlled facilities after drying. We supply higher joinery grade A/B, also known as 0/1, as well as rustic grade C.

A/B or 0/1: for high-quality joinery
Higher-grade boards and slabs are suitable for furniture, stairs, worktops and other joinery products where clean timber and the final appearance matter.
Grade C: when knots are part of the design
Rustic grade C timber is suitable for knotty flooring, furniture and artistic joinery. In this grade, the timber’s natural features are not defects; they give the finished product its character.
Standard timber thicknesses
Timber thickness: 54/50 mm
Logs with a diameter of at least 35 cm are sawn at 54 mm. After kiln drying, the timber is invoiced at a thickness of 50 mm.
Timber thickness: 35/32 mm
Smaller-diameter logs are sawn at 35 mm. After kiln drying, the timber is invoiced at a thickness of 32 mm.
Timber thickness: 30/28 mm
Rustic timber is sawn at 30 mm. After kiln drying, the timber is invoiced at a thickness of 28 mm.

Kiln-dried for joinery and furniture making
We dry rough-sawn timber in automated hot-air chamber kilns. We measure and control the optimum moisture content of 8% ± 2%, then store the dried timber in dry, climate-controlled facilities.
Controlled kiln drying gives you stable material ready for further joinery and furniture production.
Hardwood joinery timber
OAK
Hard, durable timber with a distinctive grain for solid wood furniture, stairs, worktops, flooring and exterior features. Oak is ideal where the finished product must withstand heavy use while remaining a visible design feature.
BEECH
Strong timber with a fine, even texture, well suited to furniture, stairs, worktops and flooring. Steaming gives beech a deeper reddish colour.
ASH
Flexible, durable timber with a striking grain. It is suitable for heavily used furniture, stairs, tool handles and sports equipment where both strength and flexibility are essential.
SYCAMORE MAPLE
Hard, light-coloured timber with a fine appearance for furniture, stairs, worktops and precision joinery. It is also used to make musical instruments.
WALNUT
Darker timber with a distinctive grain for designer furniture, visible interior features and veneers. Steamed and unsteamed walnut may be available; please check current stock.
CHERRY
A fine-textured timber with a warm reddish-brown colour that darkens over time. It is ideal for designer furniture and interior features where the material’s colour and grain should stand out.
ALDER
A softer, easy-to-machine timber with a light to honey-toned colour. It is suitable for furniture, decorative cladding and finer joinery or artistic products.
EUROPEAN LIME
Light-coloured, soft timber that is easy to machine and carve in fine detail. A good choice for carving, artistic products, musical instruments and decorative features.
BLACK LOCUST
Extremely durable timber with a yellow-sand colour, particularly suitable for outdoor use. It is used for decking, garden furniture, posts, flooring and components exposed to moisture.
BIRCH
Light-coloured timber with a fine grain that is easy to machine. It is suitable for furniture, cladding, carving and creative projects.
POPLAR
Lightweight, flexible timber suitable for cladding, lightweight structures, plywood and smaller joinery products. It is a practical choice when low weight and easy machining are important.
Softwood joinery timber
RED SPRUCE
A softer softwood with a warm colour and more distinctive grain. It is suitable for cladding, interior furniture, rustic flooring, timber buildings and visible structural elements.
SPRUCE
Easy-to-machine timber with a timeless, light appearance. It is suitable for timber buildings, log homes, cladding, furniture and decorative features in interiors and sheltered exterior locations.
PINE
Strong, flexible timber with a resinous grain and golden tones. It is used for furniture, cladding, flooring, stairs, roof trusses and other structural components.

3. We confirm the price and collection or delivery
Once you approve the quotation, you can collect the timber from our premises in Ilava or arrange delivery with us.

You can collect the timber from the VIERI premises in Ilava. Depending on the volume and destination, delivery can also be arranged.
